"In the early years of our marriage, we felt a clear call to Japan. Through our church, we discovered an opportunity for global ministry with One Mission Society, whose discipleship model resonated with us deeply, confirming our sense of calling. Although Japan wasn’t initially listed as an option when we applied, we continued to ask God, “Where are you wanting us to go?” Soon, OMS revealed an unlisted need in Japan—a field they had planned to close after two decades without new missionaries. However, a recent wave of interest inspired OMS to keep Japan open, despite the significant support required to rebuild momentum. Japan, OMS’s first mission field over 100 years ago, is now experiencing renewed interest and growth."
