Why Taiwan?
Guidance from Our Leaders
We recently met with our Asia Pacific Regional Directors, who shared that the Japan field is not currently able to receive us well. Their heart is for us to have a strong team and support structure, and at this time, Japan simply isn’t in a position to provide that.
A New Door Opens
Instead of asking us to wait indefinitely, they introduced us to the Taiwan field — where there is both a need and a readiness to welcome us. After meeting with the Taiwan team, we were deeply encouraged. They are incredible people with a clear vision, and they expressed excitement about us joining them.
Departure Date Set
The Taiwan field leaders have given us a potential departure date of March 16, 2026. This timeline allows us to prepare, raise support, and step into cross-cultural ministry without delay.
